Welcome to The Car Care Center, where our story is as much about family as it is about cars. Our journey began in Pegram, TN, back in November 1989, with my father, Paul Sr., steering the ship. He originally started in Nashville about a decade earlier with “Paul’s Garage.” After a successful run, he handed over the reins to me in 2015, following his retirement. Building on this legacy, I proudly opened our Nashville location in September 2022.

Doing the right thing has always been our guiding principle, even when it means going the extra mile at our own expense. Transparency is key in our dealings – our Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) play a big part in this. We always strive to offer options to our clients whenever possible. It’s no wonder that our customers often compliment us on our team’s kindness and professionalism. Our goal has always been to maintain a culture where our business is not just a service center, but a place people enjoy visiting.
My Journey to The Car Care Center
Although raised in the automotive world, it wasn’t my initial path. I ventured off to Western Kentucky University, earned my BS, and worked as an Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager in heavy manufacturing and construction. However, my true calling was working with my hands. The decision to join the family business saw me moving from Atlanta back to my roots. Starting as a Service Advisor, I soon transitioned into a technician, eventually becoming the lead technician. By 2014, I was running the business, fully taking over after Paul Sr.’s retirement in 2015.
Our Team: The Heart of Our Operations
We’re proud of our phenomenal team. In Pegram, we have Lead Technician Dan, Service Manager/Advisor Krystal, Parts Manager/Scheduler Daniel, Technician Dylan (affectionately known as Doug), and Utility Technician Jacob. Nashville boasts Service Manager/Advisor Steven, Lead Technician Grant, and Technician Andy. Each member of our team contributes to our fantastic culture, working tirelessly towards our common goal.
Life Beyond the Workshop
Spare time is a rarity for me with six wonderful kids and a small farm in Cumberland Furnace, TN. Our farm life with chickens, cattle, and kids keeps me busy. Whether it’s riding four-wheelers, hunting, fishing, or farm work, there’s always an adventure or a project awaiting.
